We are now a Communication Friendly Setting!
Recognising the diverse and evolving needs of the children in our pre-school, we are delighted to share we have recently been awarded Communication Friendly Setting (CFS) status.
Christie and Lisa are our Lead Communication Practitioners (LCPs), having undertaken the 10-week Speech and Language Support (SLS) course for 0-3 year olds, and then cascaded this training to all our staff. This means everyone is now equipped with the knowledge, skills and strategies to create a setting that enhances and develops children’s communication, creating a rich learning environment for all and supporting children who have communication needs.
